It is true and a known fact that India is the place where women are worshiped as Goddesses since ages. Historical proofs dates to 6000 years old Harappan culture.
It is because, Mother is the only person on earth, who showers unlimited love to her children.
There is a quotation in telugu, "Kaaki pilla kaakiki muddhu". It means, 'baby crow is always loved by mother crow'.
You can understand from this statement, that Mother loves her children irrespective of their glamour, strength, courage, talent, efficiency, or anything for that matter. Mother will never expect anything from their children, in return for showering love.
Anyone who can give birth are not treated as goddess. In that case, snake lays eggs and is ready to swallow them. Beings are treated as gods and goddess only for their love.
Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu, popularly known as Mother Teresa, was a nun and has become a MOTHER, not for giving birth, but for her LOVE and compassion to the people.
There is no limitation on people for being compassionate. You need not be a female for to be loved and worshiped. Rama, Buddha, Jesus were also generous to their people.
If Liberation (Moksha) is the destination, Love and Compassion are the tools of life. Anyone make use of these tools, will definitely achieve Peace and Harmony.
For this, you need to kill your enemies - Ego, Desire, Greed, Clinch, Crave, etc. Come out of anger, lying, crimes, faults, offenses, etc. to make your soul pure.
Be calm and observe the 'Law of nature' - anitya (the impermanence).
"to be aware of impermanence,
by knowing the fact that pain and pleasure are for time being.
Everything changes with time.
Not to react for temporary pains and pleasure."
This is the 'success mantra', that can be found in all the religious scripts. Need not by heart and recite this or any mantra, but follow and implement them. Change has to begin from oneself.
